The way we approach the world, and the way the world approaches us, changes. Rumi Yoga will enlighten you with an ability to relate to life and the people you love with a new found love, freedom and power. The postures you learn will never leave you and are yours forever. Rumi Yoga is not a one-time event. It is a moment-to-moment approach to being alive. It Symbolizes Divine Love and Mystical Ecstasy.
Rumi Yoga is so much more than just artful postures of love, or meditation in motion, or breathing, or eating to cleanse. The kind of love that overthrows empires and binds two hearts together for eternity is the kind of love you will experience in Rumi Yoga. If Rumi Yoga didn’t have a practical, real-life value in dealing with your uncertainties, anxieties, fears, and depressions, I would not bother living it or sharing it with you. I do not wish to waste your time. The people who practice Rumi Yoga come from every imaginable walk of life, as Rumi transcends cultural, social, economic, and national boundaries. The practice has spread largely by word of mouth, as those who learn it usually find the benefits simply too good to keep to themselves. Rumi Yoga is sure to be different from anything one has studied or practiced before, as its content is extremely unique and profound. Thus, being patient and open-minded will ensure that the learning process moves along smoothly and swiftly.
Accessing new possibilities: Leading medical experts estimate that 90% of disease is caused or
complicated by stress. This epidemic of stress is a strong contributor
to both high medical costs and poor medical outcomes. Science on the
other hand has speculated that we are using 10 percent of our brain
capacity and the 90 percent of unrealized potential is still unused.
Neuroscientist William Greenough, known for his contributions to the
understanding of the brain's ability to grow and improve, says it's
mostly up to us to develop our brains well into maturity and old age.
There is a phenomena referred to as brain plasticity, the various
ways that nerve cells, or neurons, in the brain can change to improve
the brain's capabilities. Rumi Yoga is designed to change and improve
the brain capabilities in a positive way so that you may access the
90 percent unused portion of your brain with ease.
Come and learn the most effective postures that made Rumi embrace
fear, calm anxiety, and respond to life's stress, and uncertainties.
Rumi Yoga heals, renews, inspires and empowers us to do great things
and makes us feel secure by understanding the gravity of the soul.
Standard methods enhance what you know and explore what you don't
know. Rumi Yoga gives you access to what you don't even know you don't
know. The people who practice Rumi Yoga come from every imaginable
walk of life, as Rumi transcends cultural, social, economic, and national
boundaries. The practice has spread largely by word of mouth, as those
who learn it usually find the benefits simply too good to keep to
themselves.
Private Rumi Yoga Instruction: This is an opportunity to
receive individual instruction in order to address specific issues
and needs that may not be met in a group environment. For new students,
private instruction is a good way to learn proper breathing and the
basic yoga poses in order to safely transition into group classes.
For experienced students, private sessions help refine and deepen
one's practice. Private sessions can also be used to address injuries
and target areas of weakness and tension. Ongoing private instruction
(2-3 times a week) is available on a limited basis.
Group Yoga Instruction: Dr. Mir is available for group or
semi-private instruction. This is a good way to introduce friends
and loved ones to yoga. Dr. Mir is also willing to volunteer to teach
classes for those in need (e.g. "at risk" youth, people
with serious illnesses, victims of domestic violence, or those who
simply cannot afford to pay).
Yoga Therapy: These sessions differ from private yoga instruction
in that the focus is less on asanas (poses) and more on using the
body to heal energetic, emotional and spiritual blocks. Dr. Mir will
work on many levels (physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, professional,
nutritional, etc.) in order to give you recommendations to facilitate
your healing and growth process. He will suggest movements, meditations
and affirmations to add to your daily practice.
Counseling: This is spiritually based and practical counseling
that helps you understand what is keeping you from feeling fulfilled
and satisfied in your life. Dr. Mir's work facilitates expansion and
healing by emphasizing the importance of living one's truth and purpose.
